Senator Bernie Sanders (I-VT), a 2016 Democratic presidential candidate, spoke at the weekly convocation for students at Liberty University, a Christian school in Lynchburg, Virginia. He was introduced by Jerry Falwell, Jr., the college’s president. In his remarks the senator said, “It is harder, but not less important, for us to try and communicate with those who do not agree with us on every issue.” After his speech Senator Sanders took part in a question-and-answer session moderated by David Nasser.

Went to the eye doctor today. The lump is a cyst, not eyeball cancer. Will go back 9/29 and they’ll slit and drain it and that will be that. Hopefully, no crap from the health insurance over this. Pretty sure I jumped through all the appropriate hoops for them.
The tech that did some preliminary tests with me, eye chart stuff, was shocked when I said I was 70. That always cracks me up. I see the pictures my kids take of me, I look like shit. I told her it was the flattering light in the room. Later, when she delivered me to the next waiting room she told me she loved my hair. “Lady Clairol,” I said. She said it looked great.
My hair sucks! But I must say, I kind of felt good about her compliments, lol. As for my hair, it actually did look pretty good today.

First time on the internets today. Woke @ 10:30, had breakfast @ 12, the ArrrVeee is considerably better noise wise, no saws, routers, and sanders nearby, ahhhhh
Had to revisit the thermostat job, gasket was leaking like crazy, the material was mushy.
Made my own gasket, finished both surfaces flat, added sealant, assembled, refilled, will check after going to the ArrrVeee and back and it gets hot again.
