WWIII Wednesday

The result of a war without end dispensing of the warriors.

The result of a war without end dispensing of the warriors.

November 03, 2015 “Information Clearing House” – “Common Dreams” – There are 60 million refugees in the world, the same number as were refugees at the end of WW II.

On October 31 in an unprecedented joint warning, the United Nations Secretary General Ban Ki-moon and Peter Maurer, President of the International Committee of the Red Cross called for “states to stop conflicts, respect international law and aid refugees.” Criticizing the global response to the refugee crisis, Ban Ki-moon said, “In the face of blatant inhumanity, the world has responded with disturbing paralysis.”

Despite the “unprecedented” warning, it has not received enough news coverage (a Google search turned up one hit on a news story in the Guardian UK and a post at Common Dreams) compared to the many hits any celebrity scandal generates. The chill goes down my spine when I think it’s like the world inaction when Hitler was exterminating Jews across Europe.

Is this WWIII?

Den said, “No matter what Blue care says if the doctor prescribes a med they have to provide it.”

Except when they say ok to something they don’t want to say ok to, you have to pay way more for that drug. My son’s health insurance won’t cover a drug for Sara that would help out one of her problems. They could have it, but it would be almost full price.

Sara needs varicose veins in her leg fixed but insurance won’t do it because it’s not in the groin area, it’s in the thigh. So, she gets to suffer on and on unless they win the lotto to pay for the surgery.

Den, I looked at the house in Pullman. Geez, needs LOTS of work. But the question is, are you thinking of moving to Washington State? Snow, ya know.

I am looking everywhere but decided to stay away from cold weather if I could so WA is off the list despite legal weed.

Why is there an avatar thing next to my name? It’s red with something blocky in it.

RED LETTER DAY!!! Pete & Sara are closing on their house at 4:00 p.m.! At LONG last, they can move out of Lansing. WOO HOO! Sara’s twin will stay in the Lansing house, and probably destroy it, but she can finally move out of the basement and live upstairs, destroy the upstairs. Same for her two cats.

The avatar disappeared off my first post.

It’s been very warm here, highs every day of 75° to 78°. I’ve got all the windows open right now, to let a coolish breeze in. The raging sun has heated the house up too much.

I made a delicious asparagus soup yesterday. Mmmm. I put home made kielbasa in it. 🙂

I found a frozen Amy’s Brand, Bowls it’s called Harvest Casserole, nuked 5 minutes soak for 1 and yummy delight awaits, nothing bad except salt @ 650, organic roasted sweet potatoes, Quinoa, and Kale and plenty of yum for frozen food. 0 – GMO’s!

Perfect for those stay @ home one man meals. Some bread and spread added would be good. I’m going to look for more varieties @ the store.
