Plutoneus Tuesday

1a

Scientists have discovered what appear to be ice-spewing volcanoes on the surface of Pluto, raising questions about how the tiny, distant world has been so geologically active, according to research.

The findings, released at an American Astronomical Society meeting in National Harbor, Maryland, paint a far more complicated picture of Pluto and its moons than scientists imagined.

“The Pluto system is baffling us,” planetary scientist Alan Stern, with the Southwest Research Institute in Boulder, Colorado, told reporters during a webcast news conference.

Stern heads the team working on Nasa’s New Horizons spacecraft, which made an unprecedented pass by Pluto on 14 July.

The only salad dressing I use is Good Seasons Italian. It’s a pack of dry ingredients that you mix with oil and vinegar. I make mine with Balsamic vinegar and olive oil. Mmm. I’m addicted to it.

But it is good exercise. As an exercise manual states, embrace yard work.

Exactly right. That’s why I keep moving, doing, Carolizing, lol. At my mom & pop grocery store in the village I pack my own groceries, take them out to the car and take the cart back inside. I need to keep moving.

Michigan republicans are at it again. This time they trying to eliminate straight-ticket voting. I’ve voted straight ticket my entire voting life, it made it easy to vote. Didn’t have to wonder who all those regents for U of M were, just plop a Democrat in the seat. Done.

Price stickers gone. Will hate Snyder forever for THAT one.

Thought I was hungry so with my tired feet walked up to the Hillside Cafe. But the ham steak was too salty, the cornbread strange and there are too many rosti potatoes for my diminished appetite. Only thing I’ll finish is the orange juice drink.
