Tomorrow I’m going to have to go around the ranch and pick up sticks. The winds the last couple days have knocked a lot of sticks out of the trees.
Ran up to South Lansing today, went thru Target and Lowe’s, didn’t find anything I wanted for Christmas. Might as well continue to buy Xmas presents on-line. I went to Lowe’s because of an item I was going to order from them on-line. Might as well go up to Lowe’s, see it in person and buy it there. They didn’t have any. It’s a storage bin, 24 drawers, clear drawers so you can see what’s inside.
I want to spend as much of my time as I can on this planet, and I want some planet left for the children, and grandchildren, who are always kicking the back of my airplane seat…
We got dumped on. Looks like a foot of snow, really, REALLY wet snow. I shoveled several times today, going back out shortly for a final round. The snow is really hard to push with the shovel. When I did the back deck I had to shovel and loft it over the rails. Amazingly, I didn’t have a heart attack.
When I go out this time, taking a beer with me. Probably two of them.
Today I have seen all 3 of the yellow VW beetles. Also Natasha drove by in her blue VW beetle on my way home. She stopped for a very short chat.
The game announcer has started up even though game time is 7:45 pm. Passed some students on their way to the fieldhouse events while walking home. Clear and 30 °F out.
Forgot to mention earlier that just before setting off for Swilly’s I talked briefly with Cody, one of the original mimn. He was exiting a vehicle driven by a lovely young lady who was clearly quite happy with his company. So I am pleased. Cody had a difficult time learning how to please a woman. Maybe now he has.
On my way to the Nuevo Vallarta I saw a smashed car in the middle of the intersection. This wreck required the attention of all three on-duty policemen.
Ben finally showed up and quickly finished the last of the leaves which are raked into the street for city pickup by Thanksgiving. He’ll do the rest of the yard tomorrow in the daylight.

What if something happened to him? Last time his ex finally got on here and told us what had happened. I hope they’re still friends.

Car hauled to the grocery store parking lot. Glass not swept up.
A brief chat with Hanae and Nathan, also a wave to Joan Swansen, just as I was leaving the grocery store.
Ben hasn’t done the leaves and isn’t home this weekend so now I have to do some of the raking down to the street. Don’t want to.
