Doomed!

Doomed!

Investors face a “cataclysmic year” where stock markets could fall by up to 20% and oil could slump to $16 a barrel, economists at the Royal Bank of Scotland have warned.

In a note to its clients the bank said: “Sell everything except high quality bonds. This is about return of capital, not return on capital. In a crowded hall, exit doors are small.” It said the current situation was reminiscent of 2008, when the collapse of the Lehman Brothers investment bank led to the global financial crisis. This time China could be the crisis point.

Just 17 minutes on the sticks on the way to the Hillside Cafe this drizzly day. Icy slick in a few spots.

Trip to the VA this AM proved one thing clearly, there are too many Veterans caused by too many wars, it was real crowded.

Still drizzling out. There are 5 fire department vehicles parked outside the music building. Two I have never seen before. One of those might be for the fire chief.

No firemen in evidence but the building next door, the old bookstore, is undergoing major rebuilding, with the big trash hauler just pulling up as I watched. Maybe the firemen are there just-in-case.

Just one when I left the Hillside Cafe. Took 16 minutes to stick walk home.

Day 4: 46+17+16=79 minutes so far.

I still didn’t go to Meijer’s. I’ll make myself go tomorrow before anymore snow shows up.

I started to watch the State of the Union, DVR said it’s 5 hours! So, I watched and skimmed through the first hour, stopped just as Obama was about to speak. I’ll pick it up there tomorrow.

I did enjoy watching the crowd in the chamber. It’s unbelievable how many people in that room I know. Proves I pay attention. I liked watching Obama walk in, his 3 Secret Service agents guarding him. So stern, always looking around. Just like in the movies, lol! That made me want to watch a movie with a President in it.
