War Filled Wednesday

More US Big Bang Policy

The U.S. launched a major new military campaign against ISIS on Monday when U.S. planes bombed targets in Libya, responding to requests from the U.N.-backed Libyan government. Strikes took place in the coastal town of Sirte, which ISIS took in June of last year.

The strikes represent a significant escalation in the U.S. war against ISIS, spreading the conflict thousands of miles from the warzones in Syria and Iraq.

All of these attacks took place without congressional authorization or even debate.

“We want to strike at ISIL anywhere it raises its head,” said Pentagon press secretary Peter Cook. “Libya is one of those places.” He said the airstrikes “would continue as long as [the Libyan government] is requesting them,” and that they do not have “an end point at this particular moment in time.”

Keep pissing them off and they will form more factions to revenge the killings as they have been doing. It is our fault the ME is such a mess and we keep poking that beehive over and over.

That is the work of our appointed, and some not appointed, leaders, not us, in their so-called fight to keep us safe from terrorism.

This from a country where right is wrong, lies are the truth, and war is peace.

Jerks are giving us citizens a bad name.

Den, watched a pretty good doc last week on MTV, interviewed him about his entire history and quite a lot about the recording of the new album, Rattle The Lock.

Erling from Norway is watching his country and the world from his perspective, we from the U.S.A., watching from our perspective. As I see it, and Erling sees it, the entire world is falling apart. He suddenly has to divest his stake in Turkey. It’s turned into a volatile place. Erdogan, a sociopath, is in charge. Happening EVERYwhere. We have our Donald Trump, the U.S. A. of all places, sliding into madness, it’s people sinking into ignorance. The moneyed people, the plutocrats, are at work in every country. We little guys are losing our quality of life across the globe. All because of greed, people who behave as if just released from hell, devils, no kindness or morality apparent. We’re doomed, the world is doomed…we need a miracle…we need leaders on the correct side of life. Oh, well the bad people just keep on coming…

Hot today, what’s new. High today here at the ranch was 94°. I had to go to Meijer’s in Mason for groceries, when I came out of the store my Rav4’s thermometer registered 101°. Of course, it dropped as I fired up and left the parking lot, headed home. It was 87° on the road home.

Got most of the ingredients I need for Shrimp Creole Sunday. Bob’s brother and his wife coming out to visit, a rare thing. I invited them because they need to visit with Bob before it’s too late. While me and the kids go to family things, Bob doesn’t so he hasn’t seen his family as much as we have, hence the invite. His brother lives in Holland, OH, near Toledo. Quite a drive here, but we always drive to their house, we were just there July 4th, it’s their turn to venture up here to Mid MIchigan.

I’ve been busy all day, haven’t read any news yet, came here first tonight and look at the time. It’s 11:35. I guess I’ll have no time for any of my projects. That’s life. Off to read the news, see what dastardly thing came out of Trump’s mouth. He’s the gift that keeps on giving.
