I’ve got my Pumpkin Cake in the oven. Bob said, what again? Don’t make that cake again. But Pete and I LOVE it, and I want to have THAT cake for our company Sunday.
Dishes soaking, have to make salads…taking a quick break right now while cake is in the oven.
Some flying insect eaters, a solitary seed eater headed for the tree; a quail flew across the path and quick-stepped into the bunchgrass; a rabbit squeezed under the fence to watch me go by with front paws up on a railroad track; many of the clouds have beards, the rain evaporating before even coming close to the ground. 43 minutes.
