Quiet here this AM, coffee still near full and donuts are many, dig in!

If I wasn’t in the middle of Beer-30 I would drink the cold, stale coffee. Just a quick nuke and it would be yummy. Oh well. 😦

Paul Krugman gave an honest endorsement of HRC in his TNYT op-ed today.

Well, you all can bitch about HIllary, war monger and all that, but she’s my choice at this point, no one else to vote for. I can’t wait for the election to be over so that disgusting man, Trump, goes away. I’ve had more than enough of him and the ignorant that boost him up.

Let’s move on and see what Hillary does. It’s the unknown really no matter how much everyone hates Hillary and wants to predict doom and gloom. She’s all we got folks. Let’s see what happens.

I’ll bitch about Hillary because there’s good reason to do so. I always dwell in possibilities, but not with her. I could write a long list of evidence she’s a phony — her warmongering is but one reason she doesn’t get my support. But, just a few examples…she had an opportunity to shut down the Keystone pipeline as Secretary of State, but chose to run out the clock for political (and self-serving) reasons. She’s an extreme fracking proponent! Her position on trade agreements has always been against the interests of U.S. workers until she had a come-to-jesus moment when Bernie pushed her to the wall on TPP. Just wait…if anyone thinks she’ll keep her promises on FAIR (to the masses) trade agreements, go buy that bridge if you have enough dough under your mattress after you’re screwed even more! As far as being “progressive” on social policy — well, both legacy (dominant) parties love to keep the wedge issues active because it keeps their bases all riled up and engaged. Marriage equality was going to happen no matter which party controlled the White House — it’s time had come.

“The Nation” in its endorsement that Dr. B cited said, “Even as we endorse her, we understand that it will be incumbent on us to challenge President Clinton to break her hawkish habits and move toward a new and progressive realism.”

Good luck with that! Challenge her? Get real.

The boiling frog analogy has application to this election cycle. Water is heating up….fast!!

I won’t say we’re doomed…that’s been said ad infinitum by others.

You’ll just have to learn to deal with it, Micki. I, too, have always considered her a phony. But, BUT, maybe as supreme leader she will have to tack to a more statesman like approach, no longer having to prove she has bigger cojones than her male counterparts.

Yeah, that comes across as sexist; I do not apologize. The lunatic that is The Donnie is giving her the Presidency. Up to us to hold her feet to the fire. With Bernie’s help 🙂
