It is going to get HOT here for the next week with temps 108 in Sac and 100+ here up the hill thanks to climate change, UGH!
Hurray for 5″ fans blowing on my face.

Whoa, that’s an awful forecast. 😦 That temp here would kill us because of the high humidity that would tag along.
Oy….that’s blistering, Den!
It’s gorgeous here!
Your last rose is gorgeous, too! It does look like a work of art = nature’s masterpiece!
Looks like my last rose blew up in the heat, I got 4 so far off a single stem Oranges and Lemons is the official name:
With an odor direct from Heaven, aaahhh
It’s beautiful! Like an artist’ pallet. Would love to sniff it. Good job, Den.
Nothing to report except that I’ve noticed I get more done since Quincy stopped coming over every morning. He did take a lot of time out of my day. I miss him though. My little buddy. Jill brings him over to visit here and there, so that’s good.
First two roses of summer, one white, one pale pink. Two fearless rabbits. Lots of lesser cornflowers. All on the way to the Old Post Office in 27 minutes. Salmon River Sockeye is now available although expensive.
Woke up in the middle of the night with my left ankle in pain. Finally subsided enough that I could catnap as it diffused down to the foot. Foot now has minor swelling. Strange.
Sometimes when you sleep an arm or leg gets into a bad position and goes unnoticed until it sits that way long enough, waking you up with pain. I have had that with shoulders and ankles, wrists and elbows, ankles are weird and a twisted foot can linger pain into the next day but usually gone by the day after.
A slow 58 minute round trip.
Day 6: 102+58=160 minutes. At least I made the minimum.
My right ankle won’t stop hurting, nor will the swelling on the inside shin bone go away. Oh, well. Must plug on anyway.
Most likely Osteoarthritis, old age does that to you, my left ankle lost all it’s cartilage back in the early 90’s. Hurt like hell for many years, now the pain let up. Leflunomide erased all the arthritis pain.
