Not funny here, HOT! Hot is not funny, like being cold, tough to do anything outside.

  2. jimhitchcock says:

Micki, stupid bets, but here is how snake eyes pay off:

  3. Carol ٩(-̮̮̃-̃)۶ says:

No Doc again, two days in a row, or 4 except he DID check in on day 2. 😦

Sorry you’re not feeling good, Doc. I don’t like it when you’re not here with us.

    • Micki says:

I know what you mean…remember YEARS ago when Dr. B disappeared from DWF for quite a spell, and Bill (unbeknownst to me) made a non-emergency call to the Pullman police and they made a safety check on him. He was feeling poorly…but on the mend.

  4. Carol ٩(-̮̮̃-̃)۶ says:

We had rain yesterday, a nice downpour. Since everything has been pretty dry in Michigan, lots of flooding went on in different places.

Been hot the past couple days, mostly because of the humidity which is still up there. So, even though it’s 70° right now, it feels a lot warmer.

  5. Carol ٩(-̮̮̃-̃)۶ says:

The senate’s health care abomination is a good one, pissing everyone off but the senators. Oh, sure, some of the repukes are saying they won’t vote for it in the form it is. It’s for show, AND they’ll get what they want so they’ll sign and you can bet it will be something that makes it all worse, not better. The republican brand has no heart, therefore no empathy, therefore zero patriotism or love for the country they live in.

  6. Den says:

Doc if you are feeling poorly I hope you give your son a call or text, don’t suffer needlessly.

  7. Micki says:

I clicked that little icon but nothing appears.

  8. David B. Benson says:

More red roses at the start of the slow 29 minute stick walk to the Old Post Office. Right foot still noticeable so mostly I just lie in bed.

    Less busybodying will be appreciated.

    • Den says:

NO! You should be glad people here care, get your foot looked at by a medical professional or we will narc you out to Kjell for being stubborn as hell!

Ice pack and elevation will help until you see a real Medical Doctor next week.

      Busybodies, HA!

      Put the Blunderbuss away:

    • David B. Benson says:

Its half a block to the doctor’s office.

      • Micki says:

Well, aren’t you the feisty one! No one was officious, meddling, prying, mischief-making. NO ONE WAS A BUSYBODY!

Frankly, I wasn’t that worried…but I agreed with Den, it *could* be a good idea for YOU to get in touch with your son, if it was necessary.

I, too, love my independence and ability to engage in all sorts of physical activities, from gardening, walking, cycling, trail hiking, swimming (on occasion), canoeing. But, if I had a sore foot as often as you apparently I do, I wouldn’t be cavalier about it.

One day that sore foot you mention with regularity, may not get you to the doctor’s office just half a block away.

People were only expressing their concern for someone they care about.

        So, stop it!

    • David B. Benson says:

Despite a slow 30 minutes coming home, with a glimpse of a cottontail towards the end, my foot is much better than at the same time of day yesterday. Daily total is 59 minutes.

Day 6: 202+59=261 minutes. So despite my complaining about my foot, over four and a half hours of exercise and the week isn’t over yet. Somehow I think some people here are making much ado about very little.
