A real shortage of funny out there, most has been replaced by anger and fear, talk of killing Muslims, Liberals and anyone else not conforming to the stupid way of life, sad.

Well put. Lots of stupid now. Kid Rock could win Stabenow’s seat. Can’t rule such a thing anymore.

Still sprinkling the grocery store roof but the ladder is gone and so are the air conditioning repair crews.

According to a Fox News station, Seattle is a Socialist hellhole.

Good. That’ll keep the rabble away!

Cooled off, nice day but I we used the A/C some, window have been opened since around 7:00 p.m.

Nicholas is here, Pete & Sara went to a concert in Kalamazoo. They’ll pick him up a little after midnight. He’s been staring at his iPad for most of the time he’s been here, played with his Kinetic Sand for a bit, but that was it. Bob and I watched a Bowery Boys 1946 movie in the LR w/ Nicholas. He never looked at the TV. Kids today. What a world.

      Ipad? Oh brother.

I had never heard of Kinetic Sand, so I looked it up:

      • Micki says:

        According to Wikipedia:

Kinetic Sand is a three-dimensional building toy made of 98% sand and 2% polydimethylsiloxane (a type of silicone oil) that mimics the physical properties of wet sand. Kinetic Sand was originally designed for sculpting but is commonly sold as indoor play sand for children. In appearance it resembles light brown sugar. It can be molded, it sticks to itself but not to most other materials or surfaces, and it does not dry out.

“Kinetic Sand” is the registered trademark of WABA Fun LLC. [1] Other companies make comparable products which do not use the Kinetic Sand name.

The company claims the product is safe, but there is at least one report of a dog which needed extensive surgery after eating it.[2]

Kinetic sand can be useful for kids with intellectual disability for self stimulation, learning and soothing.[3]

TVD bridge route in but 50 minutes. Other birds but mostly two families of quail, about 16 quailets in all, on the trail both going and coming. Some of the quailets flew after parents to scatter at my approach.

    Day 6: 320+50=370 minutes.

    • Den says:

Quail are good little runners despite being birds, the ones I have seen only fly if the perceived threat is too close, they skitter about and make jungle-bird noises.

This guy has an obvious problem with his six pack abs, I prefer just a six-pack:
