Everyone went home but Quincy. Jill and Brian will pick him up on their way home from Brian’s mom and dad’s.
We had snow dumped on use starting yesterday. I might have mentioned it. A little more today. The twin’s brother had a horrible drive home to Ypsilanti. We had some horizontal winds wailing, but I don’t see much more accumulation out there. I shoveled the back deck and walk as usual, and to the bird feeders this morning. Also ran the car up and down the drive. It doen’t look that bad out there for how bad the roads were. Must have been the wind blowing it back onto the roads.
Bob always liked dark chocolate covered liquid center cherries. Pete bought a box and produced them this morning before we went downstairs to open presents. He said he got them to honor Bob and we all had a cherry in our fingers and toasted Bob. It was a very nice moment.
Jill always gets everyone a box of candy from Fabiano’s in Lansing. Made here, not in a factory. She knows what kind to get each of us but this year we each had two dark chocolate, liquid center cherries with the stems sticking out. That was in honor of Bob, too. *sniff*
Merry Xmas, Spot. You too, Den.

Spot said thanks and resumed his work on the honey pile.
Be sure to take advantage of the cookie pile, Martha’s best.
