Thank you, Den, for your yeoman efforts to keep this place going!
And, thank you all for your comments about my Peace Builder Award.
Regarding Julia Child from yesterday’s postings…I was at a social gathering last evening and, I swear, Ms. Child returned from the dead. There was a woman there who was her spittin’ image! Tall like her, too.
I love this story about Julia Child..she was asked in an interview, “What’s your favorite meal?”
With hesitation she said, “Well, that would be a pint of gin and a well-marbled steak.”

A limerick of gratitude to ALL:
There once was a blog titled Dancing With Fools,
I’m thankful for those friends, they are shining jewels!
Hosted by Den,
The years have been…
Sharing, caring…and dissing Trump ghouls!
Very quiet on the way to the Old Post Office in 26 minutes. There is a large crowd here for a Thanksgiving dinner. Every table for 2 is taken. Two unoccupied tables for 6; 3 others have 4 each. Joan Swansen is here herself. The dinner special is bird, but not chicken, turkey or quail.
Well now that I am perfectly stuffed with Turkey and assorted extras washed down with beers it’s time to reflect on the days happenings and tomorrows tasks, washed down carefully with beers.
DWF wishes to extend Holiday Greetings on this day for giving thanks!
Thank you all for making DWF the place to be in the 21st Century, lets eat!

Maybe not my normal fare, but I recently watched Julie and Julia, and liked it quite a bit. She was a character, and Streep pulled it off.

Ohhhh….thanks for the reminder. A friend recommended that movie, but I didn’t get around to it.
BTW…above I should have keyed in “Without hesitation, she said….”
