How did you travel home?
I followed my son to the fix-it shop and he took me home, after a stop somewhere for lunch, of course. Once again, ate in my old video store. So long ago now that place was mine.

And there was zero wind this morning, so I let my cup of hot coffee just sit there, grabbed my burn-the-garbage coat on and BURNED THE GARBAGE. Thirteen bags, not bad. Garage looks good, no bags lined up and no cars. Just my tractor sitting in the middle of the garage.
Don’t forget to add fuel stabilizer to the gas tank of your tractor, if it has a gas shutoff, shut it off, start it up and let it run until it quits, then next Spring turn the gas back on and start it up. Otherwise if you don’t do that it might not start next spring. Have your son set up a trickle charger/ maintainer on the battery otherwise it will crap out too. Both things available at Auto Parts Store or Amazon.

A very slow 20 minutes to Kimbrough Hall for a percussion concert so I was late and missed the first selection. Then 3 minutes back to the Hillside Cafe for a diet restricted dinner.
“Routine” screening of those over 75 for colorectal cancer using colonoscopy is overuse. Every procedure has its risks, so to subject oneself to risks of this procedure, and use of anesthetic, should give one pause. No symptoms? Why do it at 75 or older?
My old doc is leaving, they set me up with an older female PA named Tatiana, originally from Moscow (she practically spit it out when I asked her), with matching Moscow bedside manner. She arranged it so I would be mailed a human pooper scooper home test kit. Oh joy.
It stayed sunny here from 11:00 on, I saw a BIG “X” in the sky, doom is on it’s way, hang on ground dwellers while your Mother Earth exacts her revenge on humanity.

While several cheaper and less invasive tests to screen for colon cancer are recommended as equally effective by the federal government’s expert panel on preventive care — and are commonly used in other countries — colonoscopy has become the go-to procedure in the United States. “We’ve defaulted to by far the most expensive option, without much if any data to support it,” said Dr. H. Gilbert Welch, a professor of medicine at the Dartmouth Institute for Health Policy and Clinical Practice.
