Watch Out Wednesday

The storm clouds of the next global financial crisis are gathering despite the world financial system being unprepared for another downturn, the deputy head of the International Monetary Fund has warned.

David Lipton, the first deputy managing director of the IMF, said that “crisis prevention is incomplete” more than a decade on from the last meltdown in the global banking system.

“As we have put it, ‘fix the roof while the sun shines’. But, like many of you, I see storm clouds building and fear the work on crisis prevention is incomplete.”

Lipton said individual nation states alone would lack the firepower to combat the next recession, while calling on governments to work together to tackle the issues that could spark another crash.

Our Planet is doomed due to White Men.
They could have learned from the Indigenous people but refused,
    they were called savages then.
How ironic the White Men would turn out to be the real savages.

Will that net you a Salvage Title? It will go to Carfax anyway.

I kind of skimmed the Wiki page. If something is wrong w/ my vehicle because it had to be fixed, then the powers that be can let me know that and if I’m supposed to do something odd, like gettomg that “salvage title.” Until then, I’m going to ignore this.

I had my fingers crossed today that Theresa May would be out. But no, she’s still there.

Same old cold day, but got up to 35° at some point, mostly hanging at 31 all day. Lots of sun for half the day.

Jill took me to have my macular degeneration checked. After six months, pretty much unchanged. I did make an appointment 6 months down the road, and to get fitted for glasses in March. About time I got distance glasses for driving. I’ve been thinking that I should.
