Unbelievable Vehicles Invading America! – Mark Fiore
On this device is “history” different from “cached data”?
Google check sez: When you visit any sites they are stored in a temp file in windows (cache). this is so that when you revisit the site it will load faster because any parts that have not changed since your last visit will be downloaded from your hard drive rather than from the net.
History is just really a bookmarking system for your own reference, kinda like favorites but for sites you have visited.
If you leave the settings that are there by default it should be fine. Doesnt make a hell of a lot of difference speed wise. maybe more of an issue for storage space if you have a real small hard drive.
Clear the cache and dump History to free up space, Google? https://support.google.com/chrome/answer/95589?co=GENIE.Platform%3DAndroid&hl=en
Standard slow 16 minutes to the Hillside Cafe where there is almost nobody. Don’t suppose that is due to the shutdown…
Up to Bryan Hall for the trio concert, then home.
Day 6: 150+34=184 minutes.
Pete was over today to install the outdoor cameras. We talked about the insurance, and he told me exactly what you wrote yesterday, Den. That what they do is remove the discount. That’s business for you, twists and turns rather than just being on the up and up.
The other thing that made me chuckle, Aaron said it’s the the deer accident, it’s the claim. LOLLLL! Well, if it weren’t for the deer there would be no claim.
I decided last night to just pay the bill. I’ll write checks for house and car tomorrow. 😦 Property taxes are due in February. I already transferred all that money and more for the other bills, into my checking. That cut my savings in half, *sniff*. I’m thinking of paying my property taxes right now, too, and all the big bills will be behind me until Christmas presents at the end of the year. Maybe I’ll be able to build up my stash again. I won’t have to spend money fixing my driveway. I did have plans to get one or two of our decks power washed and stained, they need it. I might have to let the decks rot.
Would you perhaps qualify for a property tax reduction or exemption?
Ok, Pete put up two cameras on the front of the house, two on the back. Cameras 1, 2, 3, 4. It came with a hard drive so when he was fiddling w/ the interface to set it to record he discovered it has already been recording, ever since he plugged them in. He laid them on the ground while he got the ladder and his drill, they recorded the ground, they were recording when he picked them up, held them against the house while in here I watched the monitor and told him which was to aim them. It got it all.
Perfect because the cameras would be pointless unless you could review the tape.
Now I have to read the rules. I need a way to quickly review the feed, then delete it. Don’t need to save every day’s recording.
I’m so excited over this, it’s going to be fun in the spring and summer, LOTS more birds and animals wandering by. Need to see how I can take a snapshot of something it recorded and then figure out how to get it over here to my computer. The cameras come with the hard drive and it’s plugged into a monitor. It has nothing to do w/ my computer.
OH! Pete downloaded their app for this to his cell phone and he can access my cameras from anywhere to see my yard, just like I can in here. In order to do that, he bought a long cable to reach from that hard drive to my WiFi box. Only need the cable for his app, but don’t need anything plugged into my CPU for the camera system. Their hard drive box has its own WiFi.
Boy, I’m glad I spent that $211 for this because after the shock of the bills I have to pay, I wouldn’t be buying it after tomorrow. Glad I got the system before I knew better, lol.
So I guess nude sunbathing at the Mayor Ranch is out…
Tomorrow, Tree Dodging Contest:
