DEN…that photo is priceless! LOL!
THANKS for sharing it!
are yu as grateful as you deserve to be?
This is the best essay on gratitude that I have ever read.
There’s a LOT in that essay, if read for content. Glad you like it, Den!
Light snow falling once again,
it reflects the season we are all in.
Bringing purity to the Season,
without rhyme or reason.
It is natures way of keeping us working,
sweeping and shoveling through the day.
Don’t forget to stop and eat some Turkey!
Happy Thanksgiving from Den!
Yesterday, I emailed Kjell re the video. Haven’t heard but I would imagine he’s got a packed schedule.
BTW, I appreciate that all of you at DWF gave me your impressions. So far, NO ONE has been very positive! Makes one wonder how decisions are made that result in a useless product.
Untrained people in focus groups out of focus.
ICE and Trump are even worse than I thought was possible…..

CAROL…did you read this in the DFP?
Yes, I did. I read the comments, too. People are such bigots and racists. So many were all for ICE and what ICE does.
I ordered a snow shovel today, trouble is it means an end to snow 😦
Put up some festive lights and covered up that ugly garden window foam with Xmas wrapping paper, now it is pleasant to look at, the tree next with it’s natural artificial beauty and ease of assembly.
The un-trimmer @ work:
Jill decided to leave her two boxers home since Pete was bringing their two little dogs that are half Chihuahua. She was afraid the small dogs would get hurt by the big dogs, maybe deliveratly by Quincy, who is a jerk around other dogs, but Addy might have hurt them just by accident.
We had a great day together. The doggies were lots of fun, we had lots of laughs over everything, and I love watching Pete and Jill interact all day. My two kids, great people and they are so funny together.
My turkey dinner came out fine, as usual. I shouldn’t say “as usual because I overcooked my last two turkeys. I bought a 22 pounder so had a lot of meat to send home with Sara and Nancy. Oddly, all the side dishes disappeared. NO leftovers, just the turkey and gravy. I kept the gravy, mmm.
I usually put the lid I my big roaster then with potholders pour off the turkey drippings into a pot to make the gravy. Pete came into the kitchen and did it for me, thank goodness. He also mashed the potatoes for me, which was a whole bag of red potatoes. I didn’t the dishes, as usual, and deboned the turkey. I HATE that job. Last year, Jill did the dishes and Brian stripped the meat off the turkey for me. Alas, Brian was in Virginia, don’t know Jill’s excuse for not doing the dishes, but that didn’t matter to me. I like doing dishes. It’s a very organized bit of labor. It’s satisfying.
Hope everyone had a nice Thanksgiving, too
