Lots of sun today, supposedly the snow is melting but hard to tell. Can’t wait until it’s gone. I have so many sticks out there to pick up, ugh.
I went shopping at the big box in Mason. Had to go to customer service because last week I bought 4 bags of almonds, sign posted $5.99 ea, on their website, same thing, they rang me up at $6.99 ea. *sigh*
Bob called ahead, got a guy’s name, printed out the ad from last week…I had no trouble. Got my $4 back and $5 for overcharging me. It should be $5 per item, but they do it, Michigan law, for just one item. Supposedly, that’s so mom and pops don’t have to pay through the nose. Of course, Meijer could afford to have me the $20. The Meijer brothers are billionaires.
The usual in 44 minutes today. A dad taking his 3 children for a walk; a Swainsen’s hawk being mobbed all the way across the valley. A less skittish magpie. Two of the unrecognized little dun birds perched on power lines. Sun!
Oh yes. On the way to the Hillside Cafe I noticed that the car battery which had sat for years in my carport was missing and nearby was a not quite empty beer bottle. I hope the thief took the car battery to recycling.
A little short of good cartoons to post today, but I figure what the hell, cartoonists need a break too.

How many kilos do you weigh exactly?

Not overweight for my height; waist circumference less than around hips; can no longer pinch an inch. Fairly decent shape.
Comes from all the exercise, which helps keep the blood pressure down as well.
